Donald A. McElvaney is an ordained minister of the gospel with a Masters Degree in Missions from Columbia Biblical Seminary and School of Missions. He has been actively serving the body of Christ as a missionary, preacher, teacher and mobilizer since 1984. He has travelled in thirty-eight states and extensively overseas where he has had many opportunities to preach and teach the gospel. He inspires churches to answer the “missionary call” (Acts 16:9).

Ken & Lena SolbrekkenFamily Camp Speaker

Tuesday AM to Friday AM

Ken & Lena Solbrekken met in Texas, married in Sweden and live in Canada. Lena was born in Tanzania as her parents were missionaries with the Swedish Pentecostal Assembly. Lena and Ken share a deep passion for God, their growing family, and each other. Having served the Lord in many diverse areas, with most in challenging leadership roles, the Solbrekkens are now in a resting & waiting time due to Ken’s health. Lena will be speaking and ministering this week, along with their daughter, Louise and her husband, Matt. Ken will share on the faithfulness of God through challenging times.

Travis Holownia has a great passion for God and for people. His greatest desire is to see this generation experience what it means to live in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. God has used Travis in a catalytic way. His speaking and teaching inspires youth, young adults, and all ages by calling the Spirit of God to stir and awaken hearts.Travis is the visionary leader of Resurgence Initiatives [], a movement started in 2008 seeking to inspire people to arise together. Resurgence gathers and releases people who expect the impossible, experience God’s love, empower those around them, and engage in expanding God’s Kingdom.

In 2013, Travis went full-time providing leadership to Resurgence and traveling nationally and internationally reaching the lost and stirring the body of Christ. Most recently, his passion for Canada has led him traveling to the Arctic with a message of hope to the very broken. Previously, Travis served for 8 years in the leadership of Christian youth conferences worldwide, and prior to that worked in a management role in the oil industry. Travis calls Edmonton home and holds degrees both in Engineering and Theology.

Melissa BlakeFamily Camp Worship

Melissa & Aaron Blake have been involved in Worship Leading their whole lives. Born and raised in Newfoundland and currently residing in Wainwright, Alberta with their three children Sykora, Ryley, and Benjamin, they are worship leaders at Chauvin Gospel Centre where they love to lead people into worship under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Deeper Worship Band is a group from St. Paul, Alberta, consisting of brothers Michael and Jaron Parenteau, Tobi Oyedele, Aaron Reid and John Chamberland. The group has travelled all over Alberta ministering to Church congregations and youth groups alike with a shared desire to see people connect to God in a deeper and more intimate way than they ever have before.

Amy BallFamily Camp Kids Ministry

Amy has served in kids ministry since she was just 13 years old. Growing up as a pastors kid, teaching Sunday school, leading worship, counselling at summer camps and VBS was life. Amy's passion in ministry is to see kids encounter the love of God by hearing his voice and experiencing his presence through prayer and worship. Called out of the teaching profession and into ministry at the age of 23, she has served at the PAOC district office as Children's Ministry Coordinator, and now at Gateway Family Church as Children's and Family Pastor for the past 7 years. There she serves alongside her husband, Ryan and daughter Addie. Baby #2 will be with them at camp this year!

Grace MacLellanFamily Camp Kids Ministry

Grace has worked with Children for over 20 years in a variety of capacities. Born and raised in the MD of Bonnyville; she grew up with church and following Christ being the largest foundation in her life. Grace attended Bible College in Swan River Manitoba but decided to continue her education with a focus on Children specifically, and chose to pursue both education in Early Childhood and ultimately become a classroom teacher. Grace has continued to work as a Children's Minister during that time and currently serves as both the Children's Minister for Bonnyville Pentecostal Church and the Director of Learning: Inclusive Education and Community Support for a local school board. Graces infuses her creative, energetic heart for sharing the love of Christ with developing a deep passion for the word of God with children of all ages. Grace is happily married to the love of her life of almost 16 years, and has three incredible children of her very own.

Janna has served in children’s ministry for over 25 years, her passion is connecting kids to Jesus. Janna and her husband Mike reside in St. Paul where they attend and serve in various ministries at Bethel Family Worship Centre.
